The Movement · Foundation Co.

Break the cycle.
Change what comes next.

Too many people enter adulthood expected to make decisions about money they were never taught how to make—and pursue opportunities they were never exposed to. Foundation Co. is building a movement to change that. We believe greater financial knowledge and greater exposure can change decisions, expand possibilities, and help families break financial cycles before they're passed to another generation.

The Idea Behind the Movement

Money Is Worthless Unless You Know What to Do With It.

Money alone doesn't create financial freedom. People need to understand how to earn it, manage it, protect it, grow it, invest it, and ultimately use it to create opportunities. But millions of financial decisions are made every day by people who were never formally taught how money works. That's the problem Foundation Co. wants to help change. Because when financial knowledge changes, financial decisions can change. And when financial decisions change, what gets passed to the next generation can change too.

Knowledge + Exposure

The two gaps we're working to close.

01

Financial Knowledge

You can't apply information you've never received. Young people and families deserve access to practical knowledge about:

Money managementCreditDebtSavingInvestingTaxesInsuranceEntrepreneurshipOwnershipCompound growthAssets and liabilitiesBuilding wealth

Financial education shouldn't be reserved for people who grew up in households where these conversations were already happening. Everyone deserves the opportunity to understand how money works.

02

Exposure

Knowledge tells you how. Exposure helps you discover what's possible.

You can't pursue an opportunity you don't know exists. Exposure to business owners, investors, careers, industries, colleges, financial tools, entrepreneurship, property ownership, investing, and different environments can expand what a young person imagines for their own future.

Sometimes changing someone's trajectory begins by simply showing them something they've never seen before.

Why Cycles Continue

What one generation doesn't know can be passed to the next.

Families pass down much more than money. We pass down habits. Beliefs. Experiences. Expectations. Financial behaviors. And sometimes, we unintentionally pass down gaps in knowledge.

If nobody teaches the next generation something different, the same financial decisions and limitations can continue. Foundation Co. believes education and exposure can help interrupt that pattern.

The goal isn't simply to teach people how to make more money. The goal is to help people understand money differently.

Because a generation equipped with different knowledge can make different decisions.

What We're Doing About It

We put the mission into action.

Foundation Co. doesn't believe financial empowerment should exist only in books, speeches, or social media posts. We build businesses, programs, products, partnerships, and experiences that put these ideas into practice.

A Message From Curtis Singleton

Portrait of Curtis Singleton, Founder of Foundation Co.

I've spent years working with young people, families, businesses, schools, and communities. One lesson continues to stand out: What you know matters. What you're exposed to matters. People can't make decisions using information they've never received. And they can't pursue possibilities they've never been shown.

That's why Foundation Co. exists. I want us to help create a generation that understands money earlier, sees more possibilities sooner, and has access to information that can change what happens next. But Foundation Co. can't accomplish that alone. That's why we're building a Movement.

— Curtis Singleton, Founder, Foundation Co.

What will you pass forward?

Every generation passes something to the next. Our goal is to help make sure that what gets passed forward includes knowledge, exposure, opportunity, and a stronger understanding of money. You can be part of that.
